Celebrating the Promotion

Jeremy arrived home ecstatic from his new promotion from latrine duty to mess hall duty. He would much rather deal with messes the top half of the soliders make rather than their bottoms.

And in all of the excitement from the promotion and $480 simolean bonus he decided to take Veronica out on the town.

They were enjoying the evening and had their first kiss.

Jeremy could really feel himself falling for her.

But when he mentioned something about being exculsive Veronica grudgingly accepted to be his girlfriend but told him about her commitment issues. Jeremy told her that they could work it out together and that he would give her all the time she needed.

Meeting the Neighbors

Jeremy was at his new job and instead of watching T.V. in his underwear to pass the morning, Kiplan got an idea.

He put his clothes on and went across the street to meet and greet the neighbors.

When he was invited in by his neighbor Bruce he was horrified to learn that this was the Wainwright's home! The home of his Arch-nemesis Susan Wainwright, herself!

It took Kiplan very little time to begin complaining to Susan about everything- mostly the hideous appearance of their home.

Soon Susan left for work and while Bruce watched television in the bedroom, Kiplan walked around the house and felt the sharp pangs of jealousy. His own home did not have vibrant green plants, (unless you count the crab grass) and they certainly didn't own a bigscreen t.v, or a plush carpet.

When he walked into the dining room his jealousy only got worse. The music and the artwork was breathtaking. That's when his jealousy got him thinking.

He remembered his secret pink diamond worth nearly 2,000 simoleans and he decided it was time to cash it in...

...and do some redecorating. In his room only, of course.

He made sure to include the vibrant green plants, contemporary artwork, a nice stereo, and much more comfortable bed. He then spent the rest of the afternoon lounging around listening to his favorite pop music and thinking about how great it is to have money.

First Day on the Job

Jeremy was excited to start his new career in the military

And After defeating the thief the night before and all of the working out he has been doing he felt ready.

He worked hard at the base all day and did his job well. It shouldn't be long until his superiors notice him.

After arriving home from work he felt a celebration was in order so he called Veronica and invited her out for dinner.

They had a pleasant evening. They got along so well and Jeremy started to really like her. He felt so good about his new job and his new girl.
Nothing is going to stop him now.

A Thief in the Night

Kiplan has been wanting to see a ghost again ever since the ones in their house got busted, so early in the morning he went to the cemetery, but didn't see any, so he began fishing in the eerie looking pond instead.

Meanwhile, outside their house on Maywood Lane, a burglar was sneaking through the bushes.

Jeremy awoke immediately and bravely went directly outside to defend his home.

As soon as he opened the door he pounced on the theif like a wild man.

The theif put up a good fight,

but in the end it was Jeremy who was the victor.

As the theif ran away in fear, Jeremy was no longer nervous about his first day of work in the morning. He was strong and fast and brave and the military will love him. As long as he can stand latrine duty long enough for his superiors to notice...

A Surprise at the Gym

Jeremy was getting nervous about his first day in the military. Although he was just starting out on latrine duty, he knew he would need to be stronger and faster if he wanted a promotion. So he planned to work out for most of the day.

After getting bored of exercising at home with Kiplan watching, Jeremy went to the gym. He was surprised at how nice the facility was, and how heavy the weights were!

After his workout and shower he went to the snack bar in the fitness center, and Veronica, the girl he had ran into the day before, walked in through the door. Jeremy was pleasantly surprised.

After talking with her for awhile he decided that she was possibly the best looking girl in town and even though she probably had a boyfriend, he had to know. So he asked her if she was single, and she said she was.

Veronica didn't want to interrupt his meal any longer, so she excused herself, but before she left they exchanged numbers and she hugged him.

A Night Under the Stars

Agnes asked Kiplan to meet her at the beach that night. When he arrived and found her waiting he took her hands and exclaimed his joy to be with her and his surprise to hear how the soft rush of the ocean was exactly the same as the sound of his own heart beating for Agnes. (He had heard that line in a movie once.)

After blushing Agnes looked at Kiplan quite slyly before she ran off towards the old peer and teasingly shouted back to him "You're it!"

When Kiplan caught up with her he pulled her in close and kissed her. Then, still holding her hand, he asked her how she would feel about being exclusive with one another. She said that to be with him was her only wish.

Then Kiplan leaned in to whisper in her ear. He told her his only wish would be for the sky to be filled with shooting stars just for her so that she might always have the wish of her heart.

Then he kissed her goodnight and quickly went home, hoping to leave her begging for more.

Meeting Veronica

The Next morning Jeremy awoke with a wish to get a job in the Military Career, so he went to the paper and found one. When that wish was fulfilled he had a hankering to eat at the Bistro.

So to celebrate his new job he took Kiplan out for lunch.

They sat in silence for the entire meal and just shoveled food.

Then Kiplan got a call from Agnes. While he droned on and on about her convertible, Jeremy went off to a different table to read.

Then a strange woman came up to Jeremy and introduced herself as Veronica. They had a pleasant but short conversation. Before he had to leave, though, he learned that Veronica is ambitious and her favorite color is "spice brown."

Panning For Gold

Kiplan woke up the next morning and, while Jeremy was still asleep, pulled out his pink diamond to stare at it in wonder.

Kiplan had found the uncut diamond in the backyard by the tombstone on move-in day and he had secretly sent it in to be cut and appraised at a whoppin' 1,871 simoleons. Now he is keeping his precious gem all to himself for when he will really need it.

Kiplan hid away his diamond again when he heard Jeremy in the bathroom. And when he came in, he began to talk to Kiplan about the need for more money to come into the house.

Not wanting to share his precious diamond, Kiplan looked in the newspaper for a job, but he didn't really feel like signing up to be a Test Subject at the science lab, and the "job hunt" was only for appearance's sake. He didn't need Jeremy harping on him anymore. Besides, a job is not a way to get rich.

All that thinking about money problems led Kiplan to think about Agnes and all her bundles of money sitting in the bank, so he called her up for a little date.

Agnes agreed to meet Kiplan at the pool

They laughed and flirted and played there all day.

When the sun went down Kiplan walked Agnes the few blocks to her house.

Agnes brought Kiplan into the foyer to say goodnight. Kiplan complimented her home and thought mischieviously to himself about how he could see himself living there.

Agnes must have been enjoying his company, or perhaps she is very lonely, because somehow she likes Kiplan and she showed him as much by pulling him into a warm embrace.

Then Kiplan, seeing the glow in Agnes' eyes, leaned in and sweetly kissed her.

Watching all those stupid romantic movies with Jeremy had taught him a few things and by the time Kiplan said goodnight, Agnes could barely catch her breath.
